CHEER 2025 Lunar New Year Event

On February 8, 2025, CHEER members attended the annual Lunar New Year celebration. Throughout the event, the attendees watched performances carried out by talented members of our community, including traditional Chinese dances, martial arts, choirs, and instrument ensembles, all associated with the Lunar New Year. CHEER members also passed out prizes, awarded to those who answered trivia questions correctly. Additionally, CHEER raised funds for the Devonshire PALS and invited a LAPD officer to give a speech. After the performances concluded, post-performance, activities were held, including mask creations, Chinese character writing, face paintings, CHEER members chatting, snack bars, and more. At the end of this event, CHEER passed out the money raised from funds to Devonshire Pals. We appreciate the MBCSFV for hosting this event and thank all the people who attended and performed in this spectacular event.
