Wow! This week, the SCV branch had a very successful recycling fundraiser! 6 families donated and over 30 bags of recyclables were collected! Here is how many bags each family donated:
Yuan family: 2, Lucas's family: 10, McCurley family: 7, Daniel's family: 5, Linda’s family 2, Albert's family, 4. Albert's family went to the recycling center on Sunday to exchange all of the recyclables for proceeds and the total came out to just over $70! Usually the most common item donated is plastic bottles, but this time there were bags full of cans as well!
Thank you to all of our families who spent time collecting recyclables and donating them to CHEER!
Sidenote: Chicken soup cans are not recyclable.
